As polls closed across the nation on the evening of the 2025 Federal Election, The Owl’s Election Newsroom team took to the UCFM 87.8 airwaves. Hosts Alison Kennelly and Ben Devlin were joined on the mics and behind the scenes by Tenzing Johnson, Ethan Aleksandrowicz, Jessica Menace, Frazer Coustley, Tom O’Halloran and Darle Tetteh-Achim.
Along with results and candidate interviews, the team brought listeners all the colour from earlier in the day at the Museum of Australian Democracy’s election extravaganza.
