Review of Dear Evan Hansen: How feeling bad isn’t always a bad thing

The 2021 feature film Dear Evan Hansen had big shoes to fill following the success of the Broadway musical. It was criticised for making viewers feel uncomfortable and for trivialising important issues, which is a complete misinterpretation of the film and its purposes. Just because topics and characters make you feel uncomfortable doesn’t mean that they are not worth portraying.

Enlighten’s Lights! Canberra! Action! – a scavenger hunt short film competition

On Friday, March 11, the Senate Rose Gardens outside of Old Parliament House was a bustling and energetic atmosphere.
