The crash killed ten people, four of whom were senior members of the Australian Government. The Francophonie Market took place on Friday, 18th March hosted by the Alliance Francaise of Canberra. Many Canberrans came to discover and sample the world of Francophone countries, with a total of eleven embassies being present to share their cuisine and culture. Art created by school students around the territory also drew great interest.
