The Owl College is a collaboration between the University of Canberra Journalism and Sports Media programs, and secondary schools in the capital region.

With instruction and mentoring from UC staff and student journalists, high school and college students are supported to:

• Gain an appreciation of basic journalistic practice and editorial workflow;
• Develop basic practical skills in multimedia production; and
• Publish articles at The Owl
